There are 8 pull ups bars, 4 monkey bars and 1 set of parallel bars. Great park for calisthenics, street workout, street fitness. The spot is next to Texas A&M University.
Spence Park is located on the East side of Houston St., off of George Bush Drive, directly across from Kyle Field. This park has a variety of rolling trails that have designated distances throughout to allow the running and walking classes to monitor the distance of their workouts.
In addition to walking and running classes, fitness and conditioning, ultimate frisbee, boot camp and sport conditioning classes regularly workout there. Spence Park is also a popular destination on football gamedays for tailgaters.
